Working with wool and looms is my passion; I am an artisan. I learned this craft from my family. For me, it is a magical job of which I am tremendously proud. This craft has taken me to know villages, cities, different people, and even other countries where I learned to innovate in the technique without losing identity. My designs and colors reflect my land and have allowed me to preserve one of the most important values of Aymara culture, the transcendence, the passing down of this “magical” craft from generation to generation, something as simple and complex as weaving.
